What to expect
Every long distance move we run is a private, dedicated load. Your belongings are the only ones on the truck, from your Pittsburgh driveway to your new front door.
We do not share trucks or combine loads. The driver who loads your home drives the truck and unloads it at the other end, so one person is responsible for your belongings the whole way.
Our routes run from Pittsburgh to New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, DC, and Chicago. Quotes are binding and worked out from a video walkthrough or a look at your home.
Careful help built around your move.
Big van lines often put several households on one truck, and delivery can take up to two weeks. We never share loads. The driver who loads your home drives the truck and unloads it at the other end, and delivery is often the next day.
Important details for Long Distance Moving.
New York City and Philadelphia: a private truck from your Pittsburgh home straight to the East Coast.
DC, Maryland, and Virginia: direct runs south with your belongings as the only load.
Boston and New England: one truck and one household for the whole trip.
Chicago and the Midwest: a dedicated truck west with nothing else on board.
The Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia: private loads south, handled by the driver who loaded your home.
Business moves: office and warehouse relocations to Philadelphia, Boston, DC, and Chicago.
Add our packers, or drop off furniture for donation on the way out, as add-ons to the move.
Your load stays with us.
We never hand your belongings to another carrier or sell your load to another company. Everything stays on our truck and under our control the whole way.
Before a long distance move, read about how a binding quote works, why a private, non-shared truck is safer, and our long distance moving checklist.

Questions before you move.
Here are the practical questions customers most often ask before a move. Call us if your access, inventory, packing, or destination needs more context.
Do I still send an inventory after a walkthrough?
No. If we did a walkthrough for your estimate, your inventory is already on file. Check it and tell us about any changes at least 7 days before the move, or the final price can change.
Will my things share a truck?
No. Long distance moves are private, dedicated loads, so your things are the only things on the truck.
